Gllooww

Going to the Waitomo Caves was the last thing I was able to do before I came back to Auckland. I don't have any pictures of them, because you aren't allowed to take pictures inside the caves. The cave we went into was the glow worm cave. You start by walking to the cave, and it's all limestone and beautiful. It's amazing to see what thousands of years of water can do to shape the limestone. After walking through the caves, we went down to the underground river. We went into a boat and it was pitch black except for thousands of glow worms on the ceiling that were glowing bright green. It was pretty amazing to see, and I really wish I could have taken pictures.

If you want to check it out more, just google search "Waitomo glow worm caves"
